coleus

Coleus are vibrant tropical foliage plants, grown for their bold leaf colors and patterns. While often used for outdoor garden beds, they also make excellent houseplants when given bright light. Coleus grow quickly and are very easy to propagate, making them a good plant for people who are just entering the intermediate stage.

They thrive with bright light, consistent moisture, and regular pruning, meaning they require some maintenance and care.
