At DarkLeaf Botanicals, every plant is grown and selected with intention. We ensure each plant is healthy, established, and carefully prepared before it leaves our care.
All plants are inspected and shipped in healthy condition, free of pests and disease.
Pictures on our Shop page are representative and not the exact plant being received.
Because live plants are influenced by their environment, conditions during transit—especially extreme temperatures—may affect their appearance upon arrival. While we cannot guarantee condition after shipping, we stand behind the quality of every plant at the time of shipment and will address concerns in accordance with the following policies:
Shipping Policy
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days and sent by UPS 2nd day Air, every Monday.
Costs are calculated at checkout and depend on location and package size.We ship to all US states except AK and HI.
Delivery times may vary depending on your location, weather, or carrier delays.
We are not responsible for shipping delays beyond our control.
Mild cosmetic damage and temporary plant stress is normal for shipped specimens.
Weather Policy
We may delay shipping during extreme weather, especially for sensitive plants like jewel orchids
For cold months, heat packs are available to purchase for shipping
For hot months, cooling packs are available to purchase for shipping
Plant death due to cold/hot weather shipping without heat/cool packs will not be refunded
Packaging
We take care to package plants securely to reduce damage during transit.
For fragile specimens and items, follow care instructions immediately upon receiving your shipment.
Refund PolicyDue to the perishable nature of plants, we do not offer refunds once your order has shipped.
If your order arrives unsalvageable or does not match your purchase, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at darkleafbotanicals@gmail.com with description of issue
