Scindapsus

SATIN POTHOS

With under 10 primarily cultivated varieties, the Satin Pothos is another beginner-friendly plant. Scindapsus aren’t actually pothos at all, although they are related in both their growth pattern and their care. They get their name from their thick, velvety leaves that often have silver markings.

Because they are so low maintenance, they make ideal plants for almost any setting, whether it be an office, dorm room, or a window.

Like the pothos, the scindapsus grows as a vine. It can climb or it can hang, but the leaves grow better when climbing. It grows more compact and dense than a pothos, and its leaves tend to be asymmetrical.
